My mission is to provide personalized architectural and environmental design services that meet the requirements of shore homeowners, commercial, institutional and municipal entities. Clients will receive appropriately creative solutions that enhance their built environment. Such to promote place-made memories inspired by the natural beauty of the littoral environment. My practice is committed to creating spaces that not only meet the pragmatic requirements of any program of improvements, but also to enrich the aesthetic lives of those who inhabit them.
For homeowners, I offer seamless and collaborative design experience whether you’re building a new shore home, expanding your current property, or remodeling to better suit your lifestyle. For all my projects, my mission is to deliver thoughtful, artful, contextual, environmentally-focused designwork that respects both funding limitations and regulatory compliance.
Biography
On the wall:
Professional degrees in both Environmental Planning from Rutgers University (Cook College ’82) and Architecture (Master of Architecture, School of Design, North Carolina State University ’86). After completing an internship with WSII Architects, achieved licensure in 1990.

Design Philosophy
My design philosophy is centered on creating spaces that are both dramatic and functional, sunlit and sheltering, with a special focus on site amenity integration. Such an approach starts with a deep dive into the context. Summary site characteristics are then to be laid upon by what your program entails, with each element positioned for the enhancement of shade, sun, views, circulation, gathering and privacy.
My collaborative, graphic approach to design, enhances the plastic aspect of every project. Options are communicated in a compelling fashion, incorporating as much innovation as will serve the clients needs.
